We're using technology and data to find new approaches to depression.
UCLA Health and UCLA are bringing together global technology organizations and renowned mental health researchers to change how depression is predicted and prevented across diverse populations.
We are inviting you to join the fight by signing up for our research registry.
See depression like never before.
The thousands of participants who join our studies will have the opportunity to use the latest technology like smart watches, smartphones, apps, and augmented/virtual reality to explore how to diagnose, monitor, and improve depression.
WE NEED YOUR HELP.
Your participation is key to improving our care.
Sign up for our registry to qualify for one of our studies using the latest smart health technology.
And develop new screening and treatment protocols to mitigate the burdens of depression.
Depression is the #1 source of misery in the world.
280 million people world-wide have depression, and one person dies of suicide every 40 seconds.
If you haven't experienced depression yourself
Your friend has. Your sibling. Your Parent. Your child.
Yet, we still know very little about it.
You can help us find new ways to beat depression.
We're looking for volunteers with a wide range of symptoms of depression, from no symptoms to severely depressed to join our studies. Individuals that sign up for our registry will be invited to test and maybe even keep the smart technology they'll be using.
